Welcome!

The growing number of victims of torture and cruel and inhumane treatment by Norwegian authorities, has become an international concern that needs intervention from the outside.

Torture Norway works with  spreading awareness on targeted attacks on human dignity by Norwegian authorities,  recognizing the human suffering resulting from the attacks.

Torture Norway reports incidents of torture, inhumane, degrading and cruel treatment.

Torture Norway urges Norwegian authorities to implement the Torture Convention, as a state party to the convention.
This means that all forms of inhuman treatment is stopped, the perpetrators prosecuted, and victims offered redress. It is also required that public employees will be trained in the illegality and seriousness of breaching the Convention against Torture.

We emphasize that families who have experienced being separated unjustly, must be reunited.
Financial aid must be given to find each other, in cases where enforced disappearance / forced adoption has taken place, or family members abducted by government employees, have in another way lost contact with their loved ones.
